How Can Microskin Cover Up Vitiligo on Men?

Different Ways of Applying Microskin

We call Microskin a “second skin” because it literally creates a barrier of this “second skin” that helps to blend in perfectly with your existing skin color. There are essentially two main ways that Microskin can be applied and removed. At first, for smaller scars, you can apply Microskin with a stipple brush. Once applied, Microskin will tend to last anywhere from a couple of days up to about a week. The actual length of an application primarily depends upon how oily of an area of skin the product is being applied to. More oils means the more natural breakdown will occur. However, if you begin to notice after a few days that the Microskin is not as concealing as you’d like it to be, you can simply and easily just reapply a small portion and touch it up.

Microskin can also be easily removed with a special alcohol-based solution that we can provide to you as part of your package with us. This gives you more flexibility as to when, where and how you can wear your Microskin to cover up any scars that you might have. How to Get Rid of Burn Scars

Is it really safe to use Microskin on a Burn Scar? I heard that your skin must be allowed to breathe so that it can heal effectively.

This is an excellent and most important question to ask and know the answer to. The answer is that Microskin actually allows your skin to breathe as naturally and as normally as possible so that it can heal all on its own without the Microskin application getting in the way or interfering with the natural healing process of burned skin.

How long can Microskin last on my burn scars?

The answer has two parts. Firstly, it’s important to know that skin that has been burned lacks the ability to produce oils that would normally break Microskin down; this means that Microskin can often times last upwards of a week on skin that has been burned. Secondly, Microskin lasts a little bit less on areas that have not been burned and depending upon the area, you can usually expect a few days out of a single application. You can also perform a “touch up” on your Microskin application whenever you’d like to.
